Wish List

The Williamson County & Cities Health District, City of Georgetown Parks & Recreation, and Georgetown United Way would like to present the Heritage Community Gardens Wish List.  

Note: List is not limited to these items only. Please share with us your ideas.

Supplies:
  • Gravel for parking – 1000 square feet
  • Tools and gardening equipment (hand tools, cultivator or tiller)
  • Pump rods for the windmill (and a knowledgeable person to install them)
  • Pond liner and pump for water features
  • Garden compost, soil, and composted manure
Structures:
  • Education Center – permanent wood structure with walls, roof, doors, windows
  • Gazebo
Labor:
  • Help us plant a children's garden - theme gardens, nature trails, hydroponics, butterflies, windmill, and education center
  • Planting stations throughout garden features; education center, children's garden, entrance, parking, and barn
  • Educators on topics about gardening and nutrition

We encourage involvement of families, clubs, youth groups, businesses, and organizations at Heritage Community Gardens in a variety of ways. Please contact us if interested in adopting a particular item on the wish list.  We look forward to working with you.
