Adopt a Garden Plot - Taylor Community Garden
We are excited about your interest in adopting a garden plot! We
are pleased to offer several gardening options to you.
Plot Options
The Taylor Community Garden also offers
raised garden plots and has a total of 30 raised garden plots. Our raised garden plots are built from cement cinder blocks.
There are a variety of garden plot sizes. Most raised plots are two block layers high, but a few are three layers high.
We are happy to assist you in selecting a garden plot.

We will supply:
- Garden plot with soil
- Water with hose access
- Tools such as rakes, shovels, wheel barrows, and hand gloves
- Seeds
- Guidance on what to plant throughout the year
You'll be expected to:
- Pay the one-time deposit and annual plot fee. See details about fees below.
- Tend to the plot you adopted by watering, weeding, and harvesting.
- Harvest the produce when ready and give 10% back to the community.
- Take action to control bugs and other pests.
- Attend gardener meetings.
- Agree to and follow the garden

Plot Fees
There is no plot fee for the Taylor Community Garden at this time.
