The Expert Gardeners Course

The Expert Gardener program is a horticultural training course for any gardener in Williamson County. Classes are lead by local horticulture experts and are held weekly. Gardeners are trained in botany, lawn care, organics, soil, mulch and compost, growing organic vegetables and herbs, insects and disease diagnosis, growing perennials and natives and successful gardening in the Central Texas area.

Certified Expert Gardeners become a volunteer resource for the Heritage Community Gardens in Georgetown, Georgetown school gardens, Extended School Enrichment (ESE) gardens and Williamson County community gardens.
